Tantangan & Pembukaan
Due to time constraints, we were unable to conduct in-depth UX research and only interviewed one participant. The design process for building an app or website can vary between designers, but the goal remains the same. For us, the following approach worked best:
- 1. User / stakeholder interview
- 2. Sketch on paper
- 3. Wireframe
- 4. Prototyping
- 5. Usability Testing
Desain Proses
We will briefly explain the application being developed. A company wanted an Android app to help employees manage attendance, room bookings, vehicle (car) reservations, and task management. Below are examples of the personas we created.

Problem & Solution
Problem
- 1. Attendance can only be recorded within a 10-meter radius of the office, with two options available: on-site attendance and out-of-town duty.
- 2. When employees are absent, they can attach a medical certificate or other supporting documents.
- 3. A car and a room can only be booked by one person at the same time, preventing overlapping usage.
- 4. There is no login or logout; only registration is available.
Goal
- 1. Develop an application that can handle attendance, room and car bookings, and task management.
- 2. Easy to use
In short, we completed all the stages and reached the prototyping phase—here is the result of the first iteration:

New Problem
- 1. The app feels unusual because it doesn’t have a home screen—users are immediately directed to attendance. What if a user doesn’t want to check in, has already checked in, but wants to book a room instead?
solution :

We added a home screen to make it easier for users to choose the menu they want. When users have already checked in, they will receive a notification confirming that they have completed their attendance for the day. The bottom menu was intentionally removed. Workflow:

Next, how do we handle employees who check in while on a business trip?

How do we handle employees who are absent?

How can we ensure that employees can only check in within a 10-meter radius?

How can we prevent redundant bookings for rooms or cars?
